Clean Energy Leadership Through Education and Innovation

Ghana’s Green Fund programs empower young leaders to drive clean tech and sustainability. The team runs environmental education programs and immersive bootcamps to prepare youth for climate careers.

Ghana’s Green Fund initiatives are led by the Center for Climate and Sustainability Empowerment (CCSE), a youth- and women-focused nonprofit based in Accra. CCSE is dedicated to empowering young people, especially women in marginalized communities, to understand and address climate change through education, research, and action. Their mission is to create a more sustainable and equitable future through advocacy, policy influence, and climate-smart livelihoods.

Program Overview

CCSE’s programming blends technical training, green entrepreneurship, and environmental awareness to prepare youth for leadership in climate resilience. Their work includes equipping schools with science infrastructure, running intensive bootcamps, and creating alternative livelihoods for rural women.
