WHAT WE DO

Community Resiliency

The Green Fund’s Community Resiliency programs empower underrepresented communities with STEM education, climate data collection, and global advocacy. Through initiatives like Pan-Afri Globe, BIPOC Climate Dialogue, and Eco Spring Break, we’re building a more resilient, sustainable future.

Community Resiliency

Empowering Communities for a Sustainable Future

COMMUNITY RESILIENCY

Strengthening Climate Resilience Through Education, Data, and Action

Communities across the globe—especially those in Africa, the Caribbean, and the African diaspora—are on the frontlines of climate change. Yet, many of these regions lack the data, resources, and representation needed to drive effective climate solutions. The Green Fund’s Community Resiliency programs are designed to bridge this gap, ensuring that marginalized communities have the knowledge, tools, and networks to strengthen their climate resilience.

Through STEM education, citizen science, international climate dialogues, and hands-on sustainability projects, we are building a movement of leaders and advocates who are actively shaping the future of environmental justice and climate action.

Pan-Afri Globe

Expanding Climate Science across the African Diaspora

Pan-Afri Globe, inspired by NASA’s GLOBE Program, enhances climate data collection and environmental education across Africa, the Caribbean, and North America.

What We’re Doing

✔ Training communities to collect environmental and weather data
✔ Building a centralized climate database for climate research
✔ Connecting Africa, the Caribbean, and the U.S. through shared environmental science

Many African regions lack the data needed for accurate climate models. Pan-Afri Globe ensures African environments are represented in research while providing STEM education and real-world experience.

BIPOC Climate Dialogue

Bringing Community Voices into Policy

The BIPOC Climate Dialogue is a two-day virtual event connecting government officials and BIPOC climate leaders to discuss Justice40 and climate equity.

Why It Matters

Gives BIPOC leaders a platform to influence climate policies
Strengthens collaboration between communities and policymakers
Ensures climate justice remains central to climate action

Frontline communities face the harshest climate impacts but are often excluded from decision-making. This dialogue centers their voices in climate solutions.
