Tafadzwa Kurotwi

Tafadzwa Kurotwi is a climate Activist and Humanitarian from Zimbabwe. She is the founder of Emerald Climate Hub , Which is a youth led organization that seeks to amplify African voices as well as finding sustainable solutions to climate change through innovation and technology.

She was a COP27 youth delegate in Egypt for the UNFCCC climate change conference.For the past 3 years Tafadzwa has activated about 400 people and students in Zimbabwe to constantly develop solutions that is aimed at addressing environmental issues, advocating for climate action and justice, promoting the welfare of the environment and a sustainable development across the globe by creating awareness on the importance of climate education within their community and promoting peaceful co-existence in the environment.

She achieved the African Mirror an award of recognition for humanitarian services and has consistently used the local and international media in advocating and lending her voice for communities most affected by the climate crisis for immediate action in Africa.
