Pre-COP Africa Summit

The Pre-COP Africa Summit was created in 2022 as a global alliance of climate advocates across Africa and the African diaspora to highlight the creativity, enterprise, activism, and effort underway to forge a sustainable path forward for peoples of African descent. The goal is to celebrate the spirit, culture, and energy that is the essence of resilience.
This year’s three-day virtual climate conference features pre-recorded content highlighting local culture, climate impact, and climate action across each of the geographic regions participating. The live summit will take place October 25 – 29, 2023, and will include industry experts, government officials, community leaders, and more.
All content and networking space will be available for a full month as the Summit will also serve as a hub of communication for youth, climate leaders, artists and entertainers, partners, sponsors, participants, and stakeholders to inform strategy and long-term plans to participate in COP and combat climate change.
