Eco Spring Break

ECO SPRING BREAK

HBCU Eco Spring Break is a service-learning experience held in Senegal, West Africa, in partnership with REDES Eco-villages. It involves hands-on projects at eco-villages, guided tours, cultural immersion, and visits to historical sites. The initiative aims to promote sustainable living practices, restore ecosystems, and provide education and income opportunities for local communities.

IMPACT:

Eco Spring Break offers students, faculty, and alumni the chance to contribute to sustainable development and gain firsthand experience in addressing environmental challenges. It fosters cross-cultural exchange, raises awareness about climate change's impacts, and encourages a deeper understanding of sustainable lifestyles.
